27apr2023 UPDATE:

• Swimmers can enter 3 events per session
• Novice events are 100 IM, 25 Breast, 25 Fly and 25 Back
• There will not be placement ribbons nor aggregate points for novice events (BT and heat winner ribbons will be awarded though)
• 9&U and 10 year olds will have aggregate award and meet record recognition
• 11 and 12 year old categories will have event placing, heat winner and best time ribbons (no aggregate and meet record)
• 11 and 12 entries should be below BC Divisional Times as this meet is geared towards 11 and 12 year olds working towards that standard.
• Event 16 the 200 Fly relay is the 8x25 Crazy Shirt relay. You can combine teams the day of to give every swimmer a chance to participate. Feel free to bring or create your own shirt for the event.
• The 4x50 Free and Medley relay are to give swimmer a chance to experience relays at a meet. Feel free to work with another team or combine ages or genders to make it work. We will try to have the fastest 'legit' teams together to race in the last heats but the rest is to give the kids a chance to experience relays in a swim meet.

• this competition is considered the 10&U Championships of Vancouver Island!  We're wanting to send a large representation of Stingrays - no QTs so all of our D group and up are eligible to attend

The Comox Valley Sharks are hosting the always exciting Spring Challenge for all swimmers ages 12yrs & Under.  Specifically, this competition is suited for all swimmers 10yrs & Under as well as pre VIR QT 11/12yrs.
