DST SPLASH-A-THON 2020
A challenge for everyone. A swim for all. DST Splash-A-Thon 2029 will take place on Friday, April 24th starting at 5:00 PM and is open to all our members. The challenge is to swim as far as you can in two hours up to a total of 200 lengths or 5000 metres.
Splash-A-Thon is a very important fundraising event for the Duncan Swim Team. With the monies earned the Club can purchase equipment, subsidize travel and fitness costs, and help to fund special projects that allow our athletes to participate and become the best swimmers and citizens they can be. All participants will ask sponsors to pledge a certain amount per length. It is important that sponsors understand that they can specify a maximum amount to be pledged.
For the Splash-A-Thon, starting at 5:00 and ending (at latest) 7:00, each swimmer is required to provide their own counter for the day. If you are unable to be there in time for the start but will be arriving a bit later during the event, please let your swimmer's coach know and we'll coordinate a counter in your absence.
If you are unable to attend the entire duration of the event, please coordinate your own counter for the day as we do not have the manpower nor the ability to count all 140+ Stingrays Swimmers.

ALL members are needed to attend our TEAM PICTURES @ 4:00pm to showcase our 2019/2020 Stingrays Team. Stingrays black team shirts and dark bottoms please!
If you've not received your team shirt yet, you will be issued this on the day of team pics.
If you are interested in also doing an individual picture please arrive by 3:30. For all others attending, please arrive no later than 4:00 and you are welcome to leave prior to the Splash-A-Thon starting at 5pm.
Professional pictures are handled by Lifetouch Photography and can be purchased ON THE DAY ONLY with funds going directly to the photographer with the costs TBD.
