12 & Under Jamboree

03may2022 UPDATE:

(from the Host Meet Manager)

Spectators:
We will have spectator access. We have two small benches (30-40 capacity)and some standing area (10-20). If it reaches capacity we ask that parents please only be on deck for watching their swimmers.

Spectators please enter through the side door to the right of the building, not the main entrance.

Swimmer seating:
The main bleachers will be for swimmers. Areas will be sectioned off for each club.

Volunteers
We can use stroke & turn help and a few timers.
Parents can sign up via our website event page

Saturday Pizza
Following relays on Saturday we will have pizza and a drink for all the swimmers

Snowbird Training Camp

The CAF Snowbirds are in the Comox Valley for their annual training camp. They usually have a practice session between 12:50-1:30 PM each day (tentatively!). Families may want to arrive a little earlier if they want to head to the Airforce base/beach to watch the action.

Entries & Fees Report emailed out to all confirmed swimmers.

25apr2022 UPDATE:

• Invitations emailed to applicable swimmers
• Declaration deadline changed to 01may2022
• Families please note that the Meet Package is still in DRAFT mode - this is firmed up but potential for minor changes.  Once sanctioned, the updated Meet Package will be posted.
   
• Swimmers ages 13yrs & Over will be extended an invitation post the Entry Deadline (02may2022) should the competition numbers not exceed their max capacity
