....Additionally, I wanted to add the following reminder for the Misconduct rule which is noted in the Meet Package:
"The Starter shall report a swimmer to the Referee for misconduct taking place at the start of a race as per Swimming Canada Part II 2.3.2. The “misconduct” shall include but is not limited to (C.2.3.2.1):
Deliberate or negligent acts such as spitting, spouting of water, or blowing the nose in the pool or on the pool deck immediately prior to the start may be considered misconduct.
Deliberate kicking or striking of the starting platform, including the back plate prior to the start.
Unsafe or uncontrolled entry into the pool immediately prior to the start of a race. All swimmers must enter the pool with a controlled, feet-first entry.
The Referee may disqualify a swimmer for such misconduct."

The prestigious and fast ISC Bennett Cup will be held on Friday 07nov - Sunday 09nov2025 at the Saanich Commonwealth Place.
The competition typically has Time Standards equivalent to Swim BC Divisional level. Swimmers who achieve a minimum of 3 QTs per session will be invited to attend. Swimmers who have not satisfied that criteria are encouraged to attend the DST hosted VIR Level UP #1 on Sat 08nov2025
Please note that this is a Heats & Finals competition. Attendance can choose to attend 1,2, or all 3 days but it is expected that the swimmers attend both sessions on the day(s) of attendance.
