The Duncan Swim Team will be hosting our Annual Instructor Training for all eligible members 14yrs & up.
Training will be both classroom and water sessions so please plan accordingly.
Course Content: I Can Swim Instructor Training
Course Schedule: 1 day hands on training + 10 sessions mentorship program based upon the DST Stroke School schedule. Participants can determine their own scheduling based upon this either accelerated or long term.
Course outcome: I Can Swim Instructor certfication*
* The I Can Swim program has recently been purchased by a private entity and is being rebranded.
Course Cost: TBD.
Should certification still be available through the new owner, approximate cost for this course will be $150-$200. If certification is not available, cost will be <$50. training will remain the same regardless of formal certification or not.
